Strength Machine Accellerated Life Testing Rig

                                
                   
    As Hydrow developed their new simulated weight lifting machine, they needed a testing rig to test the long-term durability of product’s drivetrain. 


I designed a rig capable of supporting lifts 8ft in range, of 250 lbs per side (500 lbs total). The rig had two configurations. The first configuration, shown above, enables mounting of a Hydrow strength machine for full-system cycling. 

The second, used in early development, simply provided a platform for the drivetrain components to be mounted, and lift weight stacks. This enabled quick testing and iteration on drivetrain components. This configuration is appximately represented by the screenshot below:
